Please Note: As we expand and ramp up development this section will be updated as needed with more detail. These are some of our core ideas and we don't want to stray to far from our vision
Combat Mechanics:
Stamina Management: Players must carefully manage their stamina to execute attacks, dodge, block, and parry effectively.
Dodging, Blocking, and Parrying: Mastering these defensive maneuvers is crucial for survival in battles.
Diverse Weapons: A variety of weapons with unique movesets and stat scaling (Strength, Dexterity, etc.) allow players to customize their combat style. Weapons can also be upgraded to boost their effectiveness.
Magic and Ranged Combat:
Spells and Magic: Players can cast various spells, each requiring specific stats and mana resources.
Ranged Weapons: Bows and crossbows provide ranged attack options, with arrows and bolts as necessary resources.
Progression System:
Leveling Up: Players collect Sugarcane (EXP orbs) to gain experience and level up, allowing for stat and skill allocation.
In-Game Currency: Sugar serves as the universal currency for upgrading weapons and armor, simplifying the progression system for new players and encouraging tactical decision-making on spending.
NPC Quests and Rewards:
Quests: Engaging with NPCs through quests offers players both Sugarcane and unique rewards.
Special Rewards: Completing quests can yield special weapons, spells, and items, adding to the player's arsenal and enhancing their capabilities.
Simple and Strategic:
Single Currency System: Using Sugar for all upgrades and progressions makes the game accessible while requiring players to strategize on their resource management.
By integrating these core gameplay mechanics, interactive elements, and progression systems, Candyland Carnage aims to deliver a rich and engaging experience. Players will enjoy a balanced mix of tactical combat, strategic progression, and rewarding interactions as they explore the vibrant world of our Web3 MMORPG.
